Featured Artisan Phillip Miller of Shore Shots Photography
Phil Miller resides in Salisbury, on Maryland's Eastern
Shore. With its vast resources, rich in wildlife and waterfowl, this area
of the
Chesapeake Bay spawned Phil’s
love of wildlife photography,
especially native waterfowl. These majestic, striking birds gliding silently
over the still, dark waters of the Chesapeake Bay’s tributaries
inspire tranquility and inner peace. They captured Phil’s imagination
and his artistic sensibilities. It was love at first site and it shows
in his works of native Eastern Shore waterfowl.
Phil has shown his work at the Waterfowl Festival in Easton, Maryland;
the Wetlands Institute "Wings and Water Festival" in Stone Harbor,
New Jersey; the Chincoteague Wildlife Exhibit in Chestertown, Maryland;
and numerous other shows along the Eastern Seaboard. Phil's memberships
in Ducks Unlimited, the Chesapeake Bay Foundation, and the Nature Conservancy
keep him active in Wetland Preservation so that there will be live waterfowl,
other than his photographs, for future generations to enjoy.
